Company: Global developer and manufacturer of chemical intermediates. Client has a diverse range of products which are used in a variety of applications, ranging from tires to fuel additives, and plastics to surfactants.

Position Title: Production Engineer-Alkylphenols

Reports To: Production Manager

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering in a production/manufacturing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills
Pass company required medical examinations & Fit for Duty exam
Skills and Qualifications:

Familiarity with Honeywell configuration, programming, and administration
Experience with PHR, PHA, and ORI hazard reviews
Microsoft Office Suite
Functional Responsibilities:

Include, but not limited to:

Provide managerial and technical support for four production units and a packaging facility.
Prepare daily operating instructions for the Production area.
Participate in the Production Support Services Team.
Assist in management of Honeywell DCS and PI systems.
Implement control strategy enhancements for improved process control and efficiency.
Work with Production Manager and team to identify economic optimization and EHS projects.
Provide technical support for new equipment/process start-ups and operation
Lead and participate in root cause investigations and corrective action implementations for process incidents, quality excursions, customer and quality audit findings
Support the site registrations for VPP, ISO-9002, Responsible Care 14001
