A global leader in the development and manufacturing of surgical devices is seeking an energetic, hands-on, & goal oriented individual to lead their company's new product development initiatives. This is a company that is well respected in their industry and is in the process of developing several new products while their competitors are taking the status quo approach. Job Description


As the Product Development Manager you will lead the departments group in the development of new products from concept through commercialization. You will set objectives, ensure on-time release of products, and motivate your group to achieve the standards & goals which are critical to success.

Qualification


Successful candidates for this position have:

*8 plus years of experience developing products for the Medical Device Industry.

*Experience in Orthopedics (CMF, Neuro, Small/Large Bone, etc)

*Proficient with Solidworks or similar CAD programs.

*Excellent Project Management background.

*Leadership or Supervisory experience is preferred.

*BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.

*Will consider an accomplished engineer who has a proven successful track record looking to process into a managers role.
