Our client is a successful and thriving company searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager who’s well versed on lean manufacturing principles. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, directing, and developing all aspects of the Manufacturing Engineering Group to best support production and the continuous improvement process. This person will help improve systems, documentation, and usage of statistical process controls to improve quality and productivity.


Job Description

This person will be responsible for managing a team of manufacturing engineers and accountable for delivering agreed upon results. Some of the duties include: managing the development, implementation and maintenance of processes and equipment for the manufacturing of products to achieve cost effectiveness and product quality.


Qualification

Successful candidates for this position have:

*10 plus years of experience in an ISO certified environment.

*Six-Sigma certification. Certified Black Belt strongly preferred.

*Prior experience working in a medical device environment.

*Process validation and packaging engineering knowledge.

*Excellent knowledge on Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

*Strong Project Management skills.

*Ability to provide leadership

*Bachelors degree in Engineering, Masters Degree preferred.
